Check if you try firmware Upgrade from Setting/Upgrade/Local Upgrade/ is show "File not found".
If "File not found" is popup  open ES File Explorer and check if file name is  not update.zip.zip by mistake and rename to update.zip
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=file%20explorer&hl=en

Really sorry to be a pain.
I have formatted the usb to Fat 32 and also ExFat.
The zip folder was copied to the USB and renamed update.zip
I had the power off and a paperclip in the update hole.
Power on and when I see the robot remove the paperclip.

It goes to Himedia after about 15/20 secs, then fully loads after about 3 mins. No change.

What could I be doing wrong?? at a real loss here. anyhelp again would be really helpful.

cheers

Ok. did the ES file explorer. it was renamed update.zip.zip
I sorted that and now it says update.zip plus you have system volume folder in their too.
In local upgrade it does find it now but goes to error.
as for paperclip method it still does no work. 3 mins and back to normal.
could someone show me a screen shot of what it looks like (in case I already have it) but ultimately what else can I try?

Hello, I've just upgraded to the 1.0.7 custom firmware. Everything looks & works great, except on my earlier fw version (1.0.5 I think) there was a navigation bar with some icons at the bottom of the home screen (& others). It's possible I made a change to settings that I've forgotten somewhere, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get this back & am hoping someone has an idea. Thanks.

From custom firmware log posted in Softpedia forum :
Quote
Remove:
- Android Navigaton Bar - annoying with AirFun.
(enable/disable_navigation_bar_android.zip here install with restore button to enable)

So to get back navigation bar on custom firmware:
- backup your data / kodi userdata /etc
- download disable_android_navigation_bar.zip
- rename disable_android_navigation_bar.zip to update.zip
- copy update.zip to usb device
- follow update process with restore button

Any one can confirm that the 1.0.8 CFW is OK and stable, without any additional bugs?

I would like to also ask if it installs by default with the "white only" icons or with the coloured icons?!

Thanks!

No bugs with cfw. In app manager icons are white, but only default app of firmware.

Ok, so to disable the white icons and get back the normal coloured icons I only need to uninstal the Whicons app?!

Thanks!
