Q10 Pro Android 7 upgrade

Sorry but this might be a silly question. I downloaded the 1st upgrade file to an empty Fat 32 USB stick. Should I have unzipped the contents and saved those to the USB stick before switching on and holding reset button. Then repeated process for file 2 after deleting the 1st file data. What would be the correct file folder names for the extracted files. Should both unzipped files be in folder called update.zip after first is transferred and deleted from USB stick.
Sorry my son and I have argued about the meaning of the instructions so I did it his way without unzipping, maybe that's why I am having problems with Kodi addons, my air mouse.    headaches.   Thanks for your patience.

Download either:

this if you have Android 5.1 firmware v1.0.7 - 1.1.0 currently installed
or
this if you have Android 7 firmware v2.0.3 currently installed

Using an unzipping app (7zip, winzip etc) extract the update.zip file from the download archive to a USB pen drive.

So you have a USB pen drive with a single file on it, called 'update.zip'.

2. Insert the USB pen drive into any USB port of Q10 Pro.
3. With Q10 Pro turned off, use a paper clip or pen to press and hold the the pinhole UPGRADE button on the back of Q10 Pro (next to the power port).
4. While keeping the UPGRADE button pressed, turn on the Q10 Pro.
5. Q10 Pro will show either the Android 5.1 droid logo (5.1>>7 version) or the Android 7 coloured circle logo (7>>7 version).
6. When you see the droid/circle logo you can release the restore button.
7. A progress bar will indicate update progress. Do not turn box off or use the box/remote during update!
8. When update is complete the box will automatically reboot.
9. First boot will take 3-5 minutes. The box will reboot into new firmware. Allow boot to complete.

Hi Thanks for your response. I unzipped file 1 and followed your instructions. Seems to have completed quickly. Then did the same with the second file but Android man is still going round and round even after about 1 hour. I don't know if I should stop or leave it.

What second file? There is only one file. Re-read the instructions and follow them exactly.

In the original instructions I read that there were 2 stages for the Q10 upgrade. Its the second one that is going on forever called Stage 2 as below

FUTEKO: REMOVED AS INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRMWARE 2.0.0 ARE NOT RELEVANT TO FIRMWARE 2.0.4..
