Q5/Q10 Pro is the first player who read SACD!

Hope this helps.

1. Turn Off your Receiver/DAC.
2. Install HibyMusic to your Q10 Pro from Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hiby.music&hl=en
3. Plug a USB 2.0 printer cable from your Q10 Pro (use side the USB(A) sockets of your Q10 Pro) to the USB(B) socket at the back of your Receiver/DAC.
4. Turn On DAC
5.  When accessing Hiby a popup will open. Click OK when HibyMusic says wants to initialize your DAC.
6.  Go to SETTINGS->ADVANCE and configure you're DAC (PCM/DoP/Native) by swiping your cursor from left to right OR use the settings button from the remote.
7. Use Folder tab to choose your music.

Well I did what you recommended and HibyMusic worked somewhat. Since I am using a Receiver/DAC I had to connect the HDMI output of the Q10 Pro directly to my display. Also since I connect my Q10 Pro via ethernet I used the Automount fix to enable my Samba Share folders to be found by HibyMusic (it does not work with Ethernet, only WiFi). After HibyMusic found my DAC and supposedly initialized it, I tested it out. Under Native or DoP the DSF files and FLAC files all played too slowly as if the files were being sent to the DAC at half speed. Also I had to try different combinations to find my DSF files - apparently the setup through the Ethernet input (auto mounting a Samba share as a SDcard folder) confuses HibyMusic, and it will not show the DSF files reliably, only the FLAC files.

And despite all of this, my USB Receiver/DAC is stereo only (unless you access the additional DACs through the HDMI input), so no multichannel sound. This is NOT really a solution to playing SACD Music. Unless there is another app that plays music better (and through the HDMI output, not USB) I will have to wait and see if Himedia programs a more reliable solution.

Well I am persistent, if anything at all... The problem I was having is software related. The current android device driver is inadequate for a lot of HD Music sources, and PCM conversion is spotty at best. ExaSound Audio Design rewrote the DAC device driver for Android OS (down to version 3.1) to make it compatible with all HD music formats (including DSF/DFF files). And their software USB Audio Player Pro (using their own device driver) successfully plays SACD music through my Pioneer SC-99 USB-DAC. Their interface on the Q10 Pro is very screwy (a tablet interface not very compatible with a mouse interface), but the audio quality is impeccable... finally the correct volume and speed for each soundtrack, and the receiver recognizes the SACD 1-bit stream. The software also finds all my music sources through my Q10 Pro's ethernet connection (including DLNA) and plays them correctly.

If any enthusiast in interested in playing back HD Music formats on the Q10 Pro without quality loss this is the app to use because of the rewritten music device driver. Unfortunately my receiver DAC is stereo only, but USB Audio Pro compensates for this correctly with good results on MultiChannel sources. It can also play in the background while running other apps (probably a useless feature). I have not figure out how to get to their settings menu yet to adjust 1 pack transfer on very high bit SACD sources, since the SC-99 DAC is glitchy with these sources.

Now if I can only afford the exaSound Audio Design e28, I can then play multichannel HD sources through my Pioneer AVR  .

Yes I know UAAP's SQ is barnone. Too bad could not or do not know how to  access its settings the from the Q10 Pro to configure my DAC.

If I could make it work (UAPP) will be a very happy monkey.

Do you have compare Analog output(RCA white/red) Q10 pro DAC ( Hi3798C V200 embedded ADAC ) with your USB DAC? quality , clear, fidelity ecc..

I have not compared the analog out from the Q10 Pro using the internal DAC since I assume that it would be the same quality as the HDMI audio output (am I wrong?). I do know that the HDMI output using the Q10 Pro DAC is audibly worse than using the  Pioneer SC-99 USB DAC with USB Audio Player Pro app handling the transfer of digital audio files including the DSF (SACD) files "outside of the Android OS" in native format (not DoP), thus not affected by the Android OS limitations.

Is there anyway to do a screen "swipe" under the Q10 Pro Android OS the get to other screens in the app including the setup screen. I have a remote, mouse, and keyboard attached to the Q10 Pro, but I have not figured out how to do a finger swipe (as on a Android Tablet) to change screens!

1) To swipe the screen I tried what you said, but using USB Audio Player Pro, not HibyMusic. I'll try it again. Do you have to start the swipe by left clicking and holding off the screen edge (if that is even possible) ?

2) Remarkably I have tried playing DFF/DSF/FLAC files locally stored on a USB thumb drive or through the SD Card. Since HibyMusic requires WiFi to access my network I set up an AutoMount SDCard folder that points to my HD Music files on my network (using looun's AutoMount 0.2 Batch files). The Q10 Pro actually sees my DFF/DSF/FLAC files in a local folder on my SDCard folder. It is very convenient to access my music files that way. HibyMusic had problems playing my Hd Music files through my Pioneer DAC. But the files played fine using USB  Audio Player Pro. I have not tried listening the files playing through the built in Media Center alone and out the analog stereo outputs though.

For USB Audio Player Pro,  have you accessed its settings? If "Yes" how did you do it...

One good player also, with a bit of learning curve is NeutronMP (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.neutroncode.mp&hl=en) but could not play SACD .ISO.

For USB Audio Player Pro,  have you accessed its settings? If "Yes" how did you do it...

No, I have not been able to access its setting menu. As far as I can see with USB Audio Player Pro you have to SWIPE the screen to access settings, equalizer, etc. I was able to swipe the screen with the mouse on Hiby Music, but not with USB Audio Player Pro.

I am then assuming that you want me to send the analog stereo output to my Pioneer's Multichannel input. Then use the built in Medial Center to play my music files on the network (or through an Automounted Folder on the SDcard).

In any case when I did this the first thing you notice is that the built in Media Center does not recognize SACD files (.dsf, .dff), so cannot decode that type of HD music. But it will play FLAC files that are encoded with sample rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz. My first impression is that the volume levels are off (too low). And the music I listened too lacked some depth as compared to the FLAC files played through the Pioneer USB DAC (using USB Audio Player Pro). I have no easy way to do an A-B comparison (no less double blinded), so I cannot say why I hear a difference. And  not being able to interpret SACD files is a surprise if they want to advertise that the Q10 Pro plays high definition music.

You may need to turn the system volume on the Q10 Pro up to full. Do this via the remote. This may cure the volume problem.

Native SACD support is something HiMedia have said they'll add.
