Previously (before the release of 2.0.4) there were promises that there will be (also) a fw release based on a new SDK. Is the 2.0.4 already based on this new SDK? If not than by when we could await for this?!  :

2.0.4 is based on the new SDK. The interim release (before 2.0.3) was cancelled.

Ok, and for when we could wait for the 3D iso correct fps fix? I guess it will also need a newer SDK, and my prediction is that it won't be anytime soon?!

HiMedia know about it, but when/if it will be fixed is down to HiSilicon. I don't have any information.

I ask for help. Since I've updated to 2.0.4, I've encountered the following issues: WIFI is very unstable, skin codes are always loaded with errors, like addon errors. For example, use xxxxxxxx skin is from this update does not download create and download extrafanart, and other little problems here and there. Can anybody suggest solutions?

What a pity    This player would be perfect if it was able to read the iso 3D correctly without 24hz problem ! I wanted to replace my old "MEDE8ER" with the old "Realtek 1186 chip" that play without any problem all "3D content" but I will must keep it for my "3D contents" waiting and hoping "Himedia" fix this problem .....

I did install 2.0.4. I'm too curious to resist!
Rii not working as a mouse in Himedia player it's annoying! I understand why they chose this as the menus were never easy to click with the mouse, but skipping to a certain minute into a movie became an annoyance. It can be done, but it's much harder!
Does Q10 resumes a movie played from shares? Mine, using NFS shares, never does. Shares have rw access but Himedia seems not to be able to save a bookmark anywhere. Does this works with Samba? Or only with internal drive?
Still in testing mode. Critical stuff are working very well so I don't regret my lack of patience.

Have you tested a 3D .iso with 2.0.4? 
I played "Guardians of The Galaxy (2014)" (37.1Gb .iso file) for 2 hours without noticing any video (or 7.1 audio) issues.
Playback quality was the same as using a Blu-ray disk.
I do keep 24Hz switch on in Settings.

And even when you cant notice, Playback is simply wrong at 24.000Fps! Shoul be 23.976FPS.

I don't get who(authority)  said this, nowhere are taking about Frame Pack 1080p/23.976.
Just because left eye for many 3D BD  disc is 23.976fps this not mean Frame Pack 1080p/24 need to be 23.97 FrcOutRate.

Please don't post other player play Frame Pack 1080p/23.976 just if you can proved.
SBS/TAB with FrcOutRate 23.97 can be test it with Kodi and Auto framerate switching [PATCH] for KODI on Android 7 FW.

23.976 3D ISO playback is broken since day 1 in the device, becuase the output for them is 24 which results microstutters. Futeko told us that to fix this HiMedia needs to implement new HiSilicon SDK. New SDK was implemented but bug was still present: futeko told that according by HiMedia -> HiSilicon needs to fix the SDK before proper 23.976 3D ISO can be archived.

This is an ongoing issue since 2016-03, never been solved.

Ahaa I suppose you are refer to Android media player... dedicate BD disc player are different story, but sill I like to see a prove with video output is 23.796fps when 3D BD is play if you can share on private message will be nice.

For the 3D framepacked 23.976fps issue:  It seams that it also depends on your TV whether or not you will notice the microstutter. Some TV's are able to compensate it somehow, so you wouldn't ever notice any stutters at all. (This has been already discussed a long time ago, maybe you can search it over). This is the case with my Samsung H6400 (active 3D) TV as well. While others, with other TV's, still perceiving and reporting the issue.

Tho' while the "regular" 23.976fps->24Hz bug was still present (with the ver early firmwares on the beginning), with all kind of 23.976fps videos, i still had perceived 100% sure the mucrostutters on this same TV.
