Z9S/Z10 Stock Arrival OCT-2018

Hello Everyone,
I just placed an order for a Z9, the confirmation email listed the order as (PRE-ORDER. DESPATCH 4-OCT). I paid extra for "world express" shipping, can someone give me a date when I can expect the box Here in Connecticut, USA?  Thanks!

Expect it 2 days after we have stock. We will ship using UPS Express.

We say at the top of the description that expected despatch is 4-OCT, with a possibility of slippage to 10-OCT at latest.

Good news is that Zidoo got our stock out of their factory at the weekend. We are now waiting for the stock to be loaded onto a plane out of Hong Kong.

Today (1-OCT) was a public holiday in Hong Kong, we should have an accurate date for stock arrival in the UK by end tomorrow. When we have accurate updated information we will update the Z9S and Z10 pages.

Update today, 2-OCT:

"Stock left Zidoo's factory on 30-SEP, however the shipping agent was unable to get stock out of China before start of the Chinese National Day public holiday (1-OCT to 5-OCT). This has caused a delay to ~ 11-OCT. Stock should move out of China on 6-OCT with delivery to us around 10-OCT. We would then despatch all pre-orders on 11-OCT. We apologise for the delay."

The late pushing back of the date was caused by difficulty in getting accurate information out of China when everyone is on holiday. Up until this morning it seemed likely that our stock had got to HK on 30-SEP and would therefore be in the UK this week. HK has only one day's holiday, PRC has 5.

We will be emailing all pre-order customers with this info.

It seems China has a lot of holidays. This kind of logistic issue happened when Dune HD Pro 4k was launched as well. Anyway we hope there are no more delays. Eagerly waiting for the machine. Thanks..

They have many public holidays where the whole country shuts down completely, but fewer other paid holidays. It's completely opposite to the UK where people often work on public holidays but everybody gets relatively generous paid holidays.

It's unfortunate that this shipment didn't get out before the holiday. We were told that it would.

Mine arrived in New Zealand today, 17th Oct.
From a shipment email sent on the 13th Oct, thats pretty good going!
