I upgraded from 2.0.6 to 2.0.8 yesterday.
a few thoughts, after the upgrade i had a lot of apps not working so i was did a factory reset. This all the apps from te box including kodi and the wrapper.
Had to setup everything from the beginning, well it has time for a refresh anyways.
First problem i encountered after setting up the wrapper and kodi, was the mount failed issue with the internal player, how hard is it Himedia really???
i had to use the persistant mount for smb/nfs to resolve the issue like with 2.0.6.
Also i am having an issue with internal media player and external subtitles, i had this in 2.0.6 it was one of the main reasons i tried the update. Since the internal players download subtitles is not working for about a year now and nobody seems to care, i am starting the video in kodi, download the subs with kodi, and then i start it with the internal player but the subtitles are not there at all(off course the file is there i have checked multiple times), the build in subs work ok with the player. So its either subtitles or HD-audio for me for the past 2-3 releases or so, thanks again !

Oops almost forgot , having issue with wired connection and google play store, only wifi connection if you want to download anything from the store, by the way a 30$ china player has spoofing in the settings for this kind of stuff.

do a clean upgrade, not a dirty one. always. there aren't so much settings to redo, reallly.
don't use passwords for shares, don't use spaces in folders name.
don't expect a space ship for 150$. even for 500$, you'll get an oppo player, at best. with its limitations, also.

You have multiple problems which are untypical of other users' experience of 2.0.8.

I suggest reinstalling 2.0.8 using the method detailed in the firmware threads.

using cfw2.0.8, clean install, i observed that the problem from cfw2.0.7, with google play not opening, has reappeared.
later edit; was cfw 2.0.8 v1, which was broken; v2 is working ok

The hyper links are reversed for firmware 2.08  The link under Q10 Pro downloads a file with Q5 in the file name and the file under Q5 shows as Q10 Pro when downloading.

Something changed on CS mediafire between me posting links and very recently.

Opening posts have been updated to reflect the change.

You already test it on 25.4 via other link.

::) I have a problem, any online video freezing - crap. In the older version it work ok. Testing on two Q10 PRO and two Internet providers.

edit: I've downloaded V2, and it looks like it's all OK. :)

Thank you pcristi

Does anyone know why the Plex info bar keeps opening about every 30 seconds when playing anything?

Woww Plex have new feature with new problems please try use old version like arm 6.15.x.x
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/plex-inc/plex/plex-6-15-2-4143-release/

Plex have to filter keyevent only for what they apps know and not to popup controls for any unknown/undefined keyevent.

the 2.0.8 firmware for me is pure awesomeness.... especially with the impressive 1080p mkv files playback quality...
my only remaining issue is that whenever i change the tv hdmi input (to watch other sources) using the TV remote and go back to the Q10 pro , the screen goes black , and in order to get the display back , i have to unplug and plug in the hdmi cable back again.
aside from the mentioned , i'm truly amazed...
thanks to everyone involved

Plex works ok (NO popups) using the official firmware
