Hmm, that seems a bit weird, as you either have L1 Widevine certification and then you have 1080p/4K and surround 5+1/Dolby Atmos or you have L3 and then you have just stereo and SD?

So if you have 5+1 sound you should also have 4K...

I suggest you contact Dune about this.

Regarding the lack of 4K and 5.1 Dune answered me the following:

Hello,
Unfortunately, Netflix does not want to certify the Realtek platform used in Dune HD media players as such (due to insufficient global sales of models on these chips for them). And therefore, it is quite possible that on this best-quality video platform, Netflix support will always only be unofficial and therefore not guaranteed.

Needless to say how disappointed I am.... :(

So as I said... I DO get 5.1 Sound.

If you don't then it's not Dune's fault, but you're not following those instructions...

I forgot to mention I am also on the latest Beta firmware...

I applied the Dune suggested fix to delete and reload Netflix, and am able to stream 1080p, but no 4k. I am, however, able to stream in Dolby Atmos, which I am happy about.

In Disney plus, I am able to stream also only in 1080p, but do get either Atmos, or DD Plus.

In both cases, when I first signed in, I got notices from Netflix and Disney Plus that stated a new device had been signed in, and was identified as "Android Tablet".

I recall reading somewhere tah both services only stream 1080p to tablets, so that may be an answer as to why no 4k.
