Does anybody trying to use the pre-installed Amazon Prime App?

When I am trying to play some content with HDR10/HDR10+ all streams are playing only as SDR.

Testet it with r17 and 22.

My settings for the box are:

Auto frame rate: All
Auto resolution: Enabled
HDR and Dolby Vision settings:
- HDR processing mode: Auto
- HDR10+: Activate (Auto didn't work and play the content only as HDR10)
- Dolby Vision output mode: STD DV
Advanced settings
- Max HDMI color depth: Auto
- Preferred HDMI color depth: as in content
- Chroma subsampling for 4Kp50/60 8-bit: 4:2:0
- Chroma subsampling for 4Kp50/60 12-bit: 4:2:0
- Chroma subsampling for 4Kp24/30 12-bit: 4:4:4
- Chroma subsampling for non-4K 12bit: 4:4:4

The Player is connected to a Denon AVR S970H.
TV is a TCL 50QM8B connected to AVR as well.


I send this request to official Dune support without any reply.

The pre-installed YouTupe App realize and play HDR10 content without any problem.

SmartTube/YouTube will work fine.

Streaming apps like Amazon, Netflix, etc will not be fully functional ever on a machine like a Dune or Ziddo...they are not licensed as such.
Dune since has made this very clear in the descriptions of new models in case there is any confusion.

Hmm thats curious because the app himself is running without a problem on this device.
When you are choosing a content with HDR the symbol is shown as well.
