I find 2.0.6 more stable with more fixes too. I think it is one of the most stable firmware. ralphberner, please list you issues in detail.

I just went away from the custom 2.0.6 and installed the official 2.0.6.
Everything looks as like 2.0.5 again and everything works again.
Al trouble i described is gone.
I stay with the oficial firmwares in future.

patch Icon pack & Styles CFW/OFW - HMD Q5/Q10Pro[1.1] for Launcher 3D
(Please don't quote the entire post.)

Download patch Icon pack CFW Q10/Q5Pro: mediafire.
Use at your own risk(Folositi pe propria raspundere).

I downloaded the iconpack for OFW 2.0.6 and did exactly as described in this post. However, even after two restarts there are no new icons.
Do I need to adjust a setting somewhere? Maybe I missed that part. I cant seem to find where I must activate the icons.

Hi

I did use this custom firmware with audio pass-through with native kodi player. It was working great until I tried kodi 18 Leia version
Dts pass-through is working OK but not Dd ac3
For any ac3 no sound and sluttering, if I desactivate e-ac3 capable receiver it reads ac3 in 2.0 pcm...

I try to come back to kodi 17.6, I have now the same situation
Dts is still working fine, but no ac3...

How can I find the original kodi + estuary mod package?
Any idea of what came wrong?
Should kodi Leia alpha be working with audio pass-through?

Thanks

Another request please...  ;)

If I use kodi with no wrapper, I still can use the option open with himediaplayer

But then, I can no access to options like subtitles, imprex audio channels etc...
I only have pause / play

If I use himedia  player with moviebar I have access to those options...

Any idea why?
Thanks

Good morning
Since I'm having problems with the official firmware (2.0.6) as I described in this thread:
http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=711.msg21424#msg21424
I ask if they install the custom firmware you can solve both the problem of network sharing and playback of the Wrapper.
This problem also happens to other users.

Thank you

Hi
I installed the 2.0.6 and i use Mediaplayer instead of kodi.
I play mediafiles from synology ds215 .
My problem is that i always have to enter my Login and password, allthough i set the ip from himedia in the permission list in my synology.
I created shortcuts in the menue of the Mediaplayer and i am allways been asked for Name and password.
Any Solution on this?

Many thanks!

You can add the username/password while you're creating the Shortcuts. That doesn't work?

Good evening.
Actually use the official firmware 1.1 (Android5.1).
In order to install the latest custom 2.0.6 firmware, I must first install the official migration firmware "Q10 PRO FIRMWARE. ANDROID 5.1 TO ANDROID 7 (v2.0.4)" and after the custom firmware 2.0.6?

Thank you

I tried in every way, nothing to do with Android 7 these are the problems encountered.

1- the MediaCenter App, shared folders are available, but if I try to open them I always get the message "network error, please check network state".

2- in Kodi are available both the shared folders and their content, but the files are only playable with Kodi Video Player and not with the Wrapper, which gives me the message "click" OK "when playback has ended".

3- with the ES File Explorer App, you can play files shared with the HiMedia VideoPlayer. Finally this App works.

In conclusion, after a day dedicated to the new firmware, which I really appreciate for its additional functions and the background walpaper, I was forced to downgrade to the custom version 1.1 with my displeasure.  :(
For now, waiting for any solutions I'm stuck to this version.

Greetings

@Britzel
Did you use last CFW v2.0.6 uploaded on 29.12.2017?

Solution already on forum.

« Reply #764 on: January 10, 2018, 08:11:23 AM »
Good morning

Since I do not want to give up I would like to try another update procedure.
Until yesterday I had followed this procedure:

1-   Q10 PRO FIRMWARE. ANDROID 5.1 TO ANDROID 7 v2.0.4. FUTEKO. HMD-2.0.4 2017-07-05.191425
2-   update_Q10Pro_(update&themed&Kodi17.4[RC1-20170629])_HMD-2.0.4 2017-07-05.174159
3-   update_Q10Pro_(update&themed&Kodi17.6)-HMD-2.0.6 2017-10-25.164125

Detecting the problems I have described: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=812.msg21577#msg21577

Now I would try to do this procedure, starting from the basic firmware, even the procedure is longer:

1-   Q10 PRO ANDROID 5.1 TO ANDROID 7 MIGRATION FIRMWARE
2-   update_Q10Pro_(update&themed)_HMD-2.0.0 2016-11-17.181855
3-   update_Q10Pro_(update&themed&noNavBar&Kodi17.2RC1shitty)_HMD-2.0.1 2017-01-10.164949
4-   update_Q10Pro_(update&themed&Kodi17.4[RC1-20170629])_HMD-2.0.4 2017-07-05.174159
5-   update_Q10Pro_(update&themed&Kodi17.4)-HMD-2.0.5 2017-09-13.185132
6-   update_Q10Pro_(update&themed&Kodi17.6)-HMD-2.0.6 2017-10-25.164125

What do you think?
Thank you
