Interesting to see that only the new models are on sale now.

The HW changes of RTD1619BPD in a nutshell compared with equivalent RTD1619DR based models:
All standard models got HW upgraded to the latest Realtek SOC with an upgrade for the Processor chip, CPU/GPU, RAM and Flash. This brings the following to all new models:
+ The Media Processor is revised and supports new CODEC's: AV1, HEVC
The VS10 engine works on EDID basis now and downscaling HDR to SDR was improved.
+ The CPU/GPU got a performance boost of a claimed 20%+
+ The HDMI interface is upgraded to HDMI v2.1 for e.g. 4K 60Hz with HDR output
+ The Wireless module is upgraded to BT5.2 and WiFi 6 with 802.11ax MIMO OFDM
+ The Android version is upgraded to Android 11
+ RAM is now 4 Gbyte and Flash was doubled (32 GByte and 64 Gbyte UHD5000)
- The HDMI Input ports have been discontinued

The actual model replacements:
Z9X ==> Z9X PRO
Z10 PRO ==> Z20 PRO
Z1000 PRO ==> Z2000 PRO
Z1000 PRO ==> Z2600 PRO (+ dual HDMI outputs + extra USB2 port at the back)
UHD3000 ==> UHD5000

These include the new Android11 OS and I have seen Zidoo (+Realtek SDK) struggling with new Android versions on various occasions for a relative long time.

DSD is not supported by the meters. It is a well-known shortcoming I am afraid.
It does work with Eversolo though so it might come one day.

Now my SATA attached HDD limitation of 16 TByte message seems to be confirmed:
Latest FW update 221220_0257_r21 release note:
- All models: Improvement: HDD format: HDD formatting software updated to a newer version for better compatibility
- All models: Improvement: HDD format: When attempting to format a HDD bigger than 16TB on a 32-bit OS (which is not supported), now a reasonable error message is shown.

I finally got my A5 upgraded to the 3.0.8.0. Five USB sticks didn't work, two SDcard readers with various SD Cards also no, finally third SD Card reader with 2gb Kingston SD Card did the trick. Talk about fussy!!

Anyway, all up and running but a couple of question I thought you may be able to help me with:

1. The Posterwall is picking up some but not all of my films, no obvious reason for why. I tried to access "settings" but all I get is the version number of Posterwall at the bottom of the screen (v3.4.1)

2. I've tried the Kodi version built in (v18.2) and worked out I need to manually add the mount points in to get access to my SMB NAS video share. All good apart from there is no menu (main or popup) during playback nor is there any chapter control. Am I missing something? I thought it would use the great player?

Yes being very picky about the source card/stick is very strange but a fact.
Yes maybe it must be a real slow stick/card to work? Never thought about that but only real old stuf seems to work.

1) No can't do anything about PW3. It is not very good and don't use myself.

2) No Egreat isn't optimized for KODI and just works as-is. The alliance with VidOn (=XBMC), which was very nice, stopped when those pulled out of that market years ago. That is also the way Egreat got BD-menu working reasonably good. Vidon XBM171020s.apk should still work?

I disconnected the flat-cable to that display instead. It is not soldered.
