I bought MX player and its a bad choice. If they only could implement some new features on Himedias player i would be content!

Why didn't you tried the free version if it's suits your needs before you bought it?
MX Player is an android player not specifically designed to/for Himedia but what feature do you miss?

MX Player is not capable to play DVDs with Menu at all.

Refreshing to MX Player 1.9.3 is not recommended because of a new seeking bug introduced in that version. Already reported on MX Player's forum:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/mx-player/short-seeking-goes-to-beginning-video-t3647737

MX Player 1.9.5 fixes the seeking issue.

Hello i need to install my firewall CA on Q10 PRO. Got it into downloads via samba.  Using file manager or any other way I get "App stopped" and the only option to restart it. Plz help me to unlock the android 7 settings for install it like in any other Android 7.0 device. Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English ;P.

Go to Setup and in the searchbox (up-right corner) write certificate. You will find an install certificate option, however I don't know if it's working.

Well, 3D plays correct more or less at 24.000FPS, but it has some minor Microstutter.
And even when you cant notice, Playback is simply wrong at 24.000Fps! Shoul be 23.976FPS.

Microstutter every  each +/- 41" and when that come while a travelling, it is very bad !!!!!!!!!   :(

With my old "MEDE8ER 600X3D" this problem don't exist !!!!!   ::)

yep.....in my other Bluray Players it plays with 23.976fps without any stutter, only q10 pro outputs 24hz

23.976 3D ISO playback is broken since day 1 in the device, becuase the output for them is 24 which results microstutters. Futeko told us that to fix this HiMedia needs to implement new HiSilicon SDK. New SDK was implemented but bug was still present: futeko told that according by HiMedia -> HiSilicon needs to fix the SDK before proper 23.976 3D ISO can be archived.

This is an ongoing issue since 2016-03, never been solved.

Opening post playercorefactory updated to reflect Eriol version.

I added the NFS/SMB source lines to try and ensure NFS gets played using wrapper, I appreciate they aren't necessary.

Please test if the new NFS/SMB rule you added does not interfere with the mpeg2 -> VideoPlayer rule.

HiMedia Q10 Pro, Q5 Pro / Re: Embedded DVD subtitles
« on: July 31, 2017, 01:44:45 PM »
This was happening in older fw versions as well, at least I saw it a few times on 2.0.0 and was reported by others as well from different fw versions in the past.
I don't know if there is a specific HiMedia Player version which does not have this bug, since I use MX Player almost exclusively since a long time.

I have a question about default player on custom repo of Himedia

I have extracted your default player here recovery APK:

HimediaVideoPlayer_100110411_1.0.11_HMD_0411

http://nitroflare.com/view/0ADE1ECCE780880/HimediaVideoPlayer_100110411_1.0.11_HMD_0411_Release.apk

I'ill still under my apps MXPlayer, that I suppose an hope can use with right ExternalPlayer

Code: [Select]
<player name="MXPlayerPro" type="ExternalPlayer" audio="false" video="true">
<filename>com.mxtech.videoplayer.pro</filename>
<hidexbmc>true</hidexbmc>
<playcountminimumtime>120</playcountminimumtime>
</player>

My hope it's vnish or I can try?

.SRT encoding is ANSI
Normally I keep subtitles to "Auto" in the settings.

Could you try to change "Auto" for the correct encoding manually to see if the tags are still there?

For temporary solution, is it possible if i rename the title / add with .TV, for example : "Friends.TV", then mod the coreplayer factory with condition file name with .tv will be played by video player ?

Thanks

Nah, Kodi don't care about folder names but filenames.
I only see this one working if you pack the bluray into an ISO file and then you rename it for something like  *blurayseries*.iso
Then you can start to experiment with the filename filter:

Code: [Select]
<rule filename="*blurayseries*" player="VideoPlayer" />

14
It could be done as long as all the episodes contained a string (e.g. 'episode') identifying them as episodes for playback by Kodi player.

So you would need to rename all episodes to include the chosen identifier string.

Code: [Select]
<rule filename="*episode*" player="VideoPlayer" />

If it's a bluray file structure with menu you will have trouble to rename the actual m2ts files to *episode*. I mean it can be done but then the menu won't work properly anymore. And I guess the point here is a working menu.

15
This will make all bdmv structure including all bluray individual movies played by video player, isnt it ?
I need bluray individual movies played by wrapper, while only the ones with episodes (TV Shows) played by video player..

Afaik that's cannot be done.
