Maybe you can use CetusPlay v 2.1.0 till it is available again. Don't know with which android releases it works.

Is there any news?
No remote app is working anymore if Android 7 is on the tablet or smartphone.
This kind of remote was the original reason to buy the box.

Also which remote app is meant to be the latest? And where is the official place to get it.
I've seen it is hard to download them and you never know which version they are...
I found over the last time:
HiControl,
MyBox und
HandsetForMultiScreen

All do crash and I used it on Q10 and Q10 pro either on Android 5 and 7 firmware.

Just for tip: You can try this one too: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cetusplay.remotephone&hl=hu and see if it works.

You must install the Android TV version to the Box and the plain Android to your phone/tablet.

I tested the software on 2 devices. One samsung galaxy tab s 2 with android 7, not rooted original firmware. Other device samsung galaxy tab s 10.5, rooted with lineageOS android 7.1.2. On both devices I have to click OK on Device Conect screen, but after that I get an error message: Detected problems with app native libraries (please consult log for detail): libmirror50_jni.so:text relocations.
Wish I knew which log to consult, can't find this app in the android\data folder. How can I debug this?
App not working, screen keeps black after clicking the error message away.

HiControl for AndroidN are compatible just with official HiMedia 2.0.3  or newest Android 7 FW, all other older version (including repack CFW 2.0.3) show black screens.

Aha, I will test again after latest firmware update. After the 2.0.3 disaster I rolled back tot 1.0.9. Thought Android n was referred tot the device used to connect (tablet) but it's the q10 reference.
