Hey fellow-sufferers,
Here are my findings after only one day playing with this fw:
- google play account issue that was causing crashes in the beta still exist, without google account it seems to be quite stable but no access to play store.
- no audio pass-trough on kodi's internal videoplayer
- MX Player is a very good alternative since it also supports streamed content
- Persistent mountpoints seem to be broken.
they don't survive a reboot
- Mount names do not follow shortcut names anymore
(i am using loouns script for persistent smb & nfs shares again
so no need to rescan my library )
As for the remote keys return & menu issue:
I created a file called Hi_keyboard_v0001_p0001_11b.xml with the following content:
<?xml version="1.0" ?>
<buttonmap>
<device name="Hi keyboard" provider="android" vid="0001" pid="0001" buttoncount="11">
<controller id="game.controller.default">
<feature name="back" button="4" />
<feature name="x" button="5" />
</controller>
</device>
</buttonmap>
Next save the file to /sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/peripheral.joystick/resources/buttonmaps/xml/ and your remote will work as expected after the next reboot.
