[1080p][16_REF_L5.1][FLAC_5.1]Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu BD OP.mkv and [1080p][16_REF_L5.1][mp3_2.0]Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu BD OP.mkv -  audio and subtitles ok unfortunately no video.
[720p][16_REF_L5.1]Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse BD Opening EP2 audio and video ok.

Hello,

I am looking to replace my old HDX 1000 with something new.
My need is to have a good video quality because I use a VPR to play my movies.
I have a lot of m2ts and ts files and the first question is related to these files type.
Does this Media player play these type of files without problems?
What about the big mkv files up to 15 GB? The plyback is fluid?
I am also interested to a good movie's poster management and I have seen that this media player use Kodi.
Which app I need to have to use my tablet as remote control of this media player?

The Q5/Q10 will play TS and M2TS files fluidly and without and trouble.

i tested this too on M3
First one tried doesnt play well, it starts good but then its a total mess

Is not true, not all files M2TS fluidy and without trouble. It depends on how they were created as.
1920x1080 CABAC CBR 20Mbit  4:2:0  Profil : High@L4.0 Intra: 4x4  :       not fluid, many freeze and other trouble.
All files with other combinations but with CABAC and CBR is not fluid.

The only combination for a fluid M2TS i found is:
1920X1080 CAVLC VBR 17-19Mbit 4:2:0 Profil : High@L4.0 Intra: 16x16.

I did a lot of testing with many combinations and I found this solution, i work with Edius 6.07 and create files with the camera AVCHD Panasonic AG-AC90.

There has never been a product in history that has 100% flawlessly decoded every single codec and encoding combination. There are near infinite possibilities.

The HiMedia boxes are better than any other Android box I've experienced and will play 99.9% of content.

I will pass on the info about Hi10 and M2TS to HiMedia.
