Have you updated the firmware to the latest and changed audio Settings output to RAW, RAW and RAW7.1?
-
Unfortunately, Flac 7.1 only been downmix to stereo. I did try to RAW 7.1 or LPCM but the results is the same.

Not seen any movies encoded in FLAC 7.1 to test but I can confirm FLAC 5.1 works perfectly and also AAC 5.1, LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD 7.1 and DTS-HD MA 7.1 are all passed through correctly to my Yamaha Aventage RX-A710 (with the newer firmware).

I see it for the first time,too...i know that all sounds are working OK,but, flac 7.1 ,does not...this is movie info...sorry for english

but I can confirm FLAC 5.1 works perfectly and also AAC 5.1, LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD 7.1 and DTS-HD MA 7.1 are all passed through correctly (with the newer firmware).
I can't confirm that AAC 5.1, LPCM 5.1, LPCM 2.0 (some of sources) passed through with latest or old firmware. So please be accurate and add "for me".
-
AAC 5.1does not work with Q10 pro. It always output as 2 channel stereo only, with the old and as well as the new firmware. I am using Yamaha RX-V673. But with same AV receiver and MED600X3D, the output works with AAC5.1 input as PCM 5.1.
Himedia should look into this bug ASAP.
-
I have the same problem. Only 2 channels output with Aac 5.1 with my onkyo RZ900 receiver
-
Same problem with Denon AVR X2200W
-
So please be accurate and add "for me".
I have edited my post to confirm they pass-through on my Yamaha AVR.
This was fixed (for me) in the firmware update. It is evident others are still having issues so not all AVR's are treating the bitstream from the Q10 Pro the same way.

I'm feeling you are touched (in negative sense). And I have to say "nothing personal". In fact I'm really thankful to you for your "ready to help" position and information about your Yamaha AVR.
I have to explain my position too. As I've noticed before I have another players (hardware BD player and popcorn c200) worked with my AVR. I mean file that does not played on Q10 Pro played on the same AVR fine with another player. There are some people that have troubles too. As you have noticed Q10 Pro wasn't worked with your AVR until new firmware.
So I can't agree with formulation that Q10 Pro can passthrough and my AVR is incompatible with Q10 Pro. It's Q10 Pro can't work properly with some AVR including my. My point is - I just want firmware that works with my AVR (Pioneer VSX-920).

"For me" AAC 5.1 is passthrough MultiCh 5.1

@onyxx1995,@Phil181...
Add a 2nd audio track, and let as to know if FLAC 7.1 is passthrough Multi Ch 7.1

Wow...how did you get that?Can i get 5.1 out on digital output?please,what settings?...Thanks!
-
It would appear to be a bug.
7.1 FLAC in MKV works when there is more than one audio track, but not when it's on its own.

I grabbed a sample TrueHD 7.1 file of my own (from The Art of Flight) and used mkv AudioConverter to convert to 7.1 FLAC.
MediaInfo confirmed it was 7.1 FLAC audio in the file.
On my system, the Q10 Pro only passed through audio as 2.0 PCM.
I checked with my trusty old WD TV StreamingMediaPlayer (which is still running side-by-side). It passed the 7.1 FLAC audio with no problems using the same mkv file!!
I re-tested my own FLAC 5.1 192KHz tracks extracted from Pure Audio Blu-ray (Beck's Sea Change) and they passed through perfectly fine as 5.1 as before.
I then extracted the 7.1 FLAC audio track (using MKVExtract GUI2) and remuxed back into the original clip with 7.1 TrueHD. i.e. ended up with an mkv with 2x 7.1 audio tracks (as requested by @pcristi).
VERY STRANGE! Both 7.1 audio tracks (FLAC and TrueHD) now pass through as 7.1 using Q10 Pro Media Center and switching between tracks with the remote.
