Dune HD solo 8k (or other model)

There is an interesting position in the menu: rooting... yes, I do consider the option as it gives plenty of opportunities, for instance the LuckyPatcher (Among its... other functions) allows to access several normally not accessible options in the Android system, in the Firefox etc.
I do have rooted Android phones form more than a decade now, but with the phone I do know what to do and how.

Therefore:
1. anyone done it yet?
2. how about the control over what apps have the root access (IDK, the SU way, magisk or...??)
3. Is there a recovery option like TWRP?
4. Does root per se breaks anything? I did not seen any payment system...yet, but there are some "premium features" which I have free until some July, so afterwards if Dune would like to charge me for watching movies in colour - I do believe there would be an integrated payment system?

As I know, rooting can potentially break certain apps and features, especially those relying on security measures, but it doesn’t inherently disable payment systems.
