Hulu app freeze on startup page on Q10 pro
« on: March 12, 2017, 08:28:06 PM »
Hi,

I have purchased Q10 pro (android 7.0 nougat) few weeks ago.

I have installed hulu app downloaded from apk website which always freeze on hulu startup page after I either click start trial or user login.

Is there anyone having the same experience on this?  Which app site do you recommend to download in order for hulu to work on Q10 pro?

I cannot download directly from google play store as I am not US resident

Thanks for the replies.  I haven't done anything to this box yet.

Is there anyway I can unroot this box without downgrading to Andriod 5?

So your's Q10Pro run official FW HMD-2.0.1 2017-01-10.164949?
Base on idea from custom FW by Itvplus.Net(HiMedia Vietnamese dealer), I made a test version without all Itvplus.Net apps for test if streaming apps are still report FW rooted. I can't test my self this situation.

This not update&themed FW. This test is only for users of official HiMedia FW.

How to test:
- Remove streaming  apps with report FW rooted
- Reboot Q10Pro box
- Backup, backup, backup all your data
- Download update_Q10(NFPRoot)_HMD-2.0.1 2017-01-10.164949.zip from mediafire
- Rename update_Q10(NFPRoot)_HMD-2.0.1 2017-01-10.164949.zip to update.zip
- Install FW theoretically can apply from menu, best is to use restore method
- Install streaming apps and test if still report FW rooted
With some luck will not report rooted.

Thanks for the replies.  I haven't done anything to this box yet.
