My Q10 Pro's HDD rattles once in a while and the Fan is noisy.

Discovered that its is UNDERPOWERED.

Placed a 12v 4A power supply and its gone.

Yeah, agree. But a bit sluggish. Got popups once in a while saying "Application not responding, wait, close etc."

I don't have an Atmos capable receiver or TV. I have only a stereo DAC and a 4K monitor.

I have no problems playing Atmos files thru firmware 2.0x using Kodi. But reverted to firmware 1.09 since it fas many problems.

With 1.09 I am using MX Player Pro  w/ custom codec to do the job.

Had other issues.. not related to audio.

Remembered that my videos played great. Especially which I have troubled getting. Like Mission Impossible in 4K w/ Atmos Audio.

Downgraded immediately when it was available

Well I downgraded as soon Futeko posted the procedure/firmware.

Reason app compatibility.

Encountered no problems during the process. Reverted to the last/pre N firmware.

Problem with Kodi 16.1 on Android 7. Try updating your Kodi to ver 17 (beta 6)
