HiMedia Q10 Pro, Q5 Pro / Re: aspect ratio problem
« on: April 23, 2018, 07:59:39 AM »

It is not my intention to create controversy about what is better or what each one likes best. What I wanted to know was if there is a patch for the native player to add some more aspect ratio like zoom but without stretching people.
I already know that you cut images by the sides but it is an option of each one and my old popcorn c300 combo does it.
it is simply adding viewing options so that everyone can see it as they want, I say.
since I buy this device everything is a problem, I'm thinking of selling it and buying another one.
with the mx player it does not allow me to do it, only xplayer and vlc allows it to me but as I said, it is clear to see frame jumps with these players in zoom mode, in normal mode there are no frame jumps.
can it be a limitation of the hisilicon chip?
as I said with my popcorn c300 I do it without problems what happens that I have it removed simply for not being android but as a player the sigma chip is bestial

HiMedia Q10 Pro, Q5 Pro / aspect ratio problem
« on: April 20, 2018, 03:23:26 PM »
Hello, I do not know if someone has already touched on this topic but as I do not know, I'll mention it.
Is there any way to remove the black bars in the movies while maintaining the aspect ratio?
I mean cutting the image from the sides to maintain the aspect ratio when zooming to eliminate the black bars.
I only get an unnatural stretch of the image.
with other video players like vlc or x-player I get it but I suffer from frame jumps and jerks in the reproduction
If someone can give me some solution if there is I would appreciate it

in my q10 pro the sound of the keys was activated by default and I write with an air mouse then with the keyboard that has by default the q10 pro if I do not deactivate the sound of the keys when I press them in the android keyboard menu I am usually block the device by pressing any of them randomly does not have to be the first but the third or fourth or the tenth letter to press, this does not happen if I deactivate the sound of the keys to press them as I said before but I do not know if it is cause of the keyboard or the air mouse but I have tried several air mouse and always happens, I think this does not happen with the original remote, anyway I say it deactivating the sound of the keys does not happen with any air mouse and installing another keyboard like gboard for example this does not happen even with the sound of the keys activated, really curious.
Could it be a peripheral management failure? since the air mice have a sensor connected to the usb I suspect something like that

hello to all it happened to me that when writing something on the virtual keyboard (on screen) the device was stuck and I had to disconnect the power cable or it did not come out of that blockage and I realized that removing the sound of the keys to the click on the keyboard menu I solved the problem, it also works installing another keyboard as gboard for example so you know if this happens to any of you already know what to do, regards

it works, I just tried it and the patch works, thank you very much pcristi for the inconvenience and your work really thanks

I mean that in the vast majority of applications are not the settings and configuration options https://i.imgur.com/ALfxN8d.png[/img]  when they should be shown like this   , and this only happens with lor firmware based on nougat and with those based on lollipop, I have now returned to firmware 1.1.0 based on lollipop.
there is no way to solve it more simple or himedia will take action on the matter? because of course I do not understand how this can happen when in cheaper boxes this never happened to me. waiting for solution I'm left with firmware 1.1.0 and I can not understand how lollipop worked properly and after the move to nougat no, those errors are what make you distrust a brand and I say because I've been about to buy the egreat a10 or the zidoo x10
