Good day guys,
i just bought this 1tb external hdd (transcend storejet 25h3) and when i plugged it to my himedia q5 the himedia can't detect the drive. I tried to look at the default file explorer but there is no drive letter for it and I also tried to look at it using es file explorer but it only shows 0% and blank space. I tried it windows computer and its pre-formated via ntfs file system with utilities inside. does this drive incompatible with android os or am I doing something wrong? :(

I see no reason why it wouldn't work based on your description.
I would try reformatting it. GPT partition table and NTFS file system.
