Sad news but for the time being nothing changes.

The UK will not actually leave the EU until after approx 2 years of negotiations

I hope the majority comes to reflection and change on the course.
I also hope that other countries will not follow this course yet.

Thanks. It was a shock last night when the results started going the wrong way. Not what I expected.

My hope is that we don't actually end up leaving. Politics is a funny game, many twists and turns, and there are still many hurdles to cross before the UK exits.

While I respect your point of view, & there might be an affect on businesses with market confidence & currency fluctuations.  In my opinion the long term benefits could outweigh the short term losses.
Yes, I am one of the older generation, but I missed out on the referendum in the 1970's. Both Tony Benn & Enoch Powell were correct, the so called economic community was a cover up of the long term objective of a European Super state.
I do not want decisions made by unelected people in Brussels.
This referendum should have been carried out years ago. Brussels had the opportunity to offer David Cameron some concessions but failed.
I believe this is a victory for democracy, & whether you agree with the decision or not, everyone on all sides now needs to get together  to help the process.

My company, Siemens sent all UK staff an email saying business as usual.

The leave vote sends a terrible message to Europe and the world about what type of country we are.

On the economic side, nobody really knows how this is going to turn out. It really depends on what sort of EU/world trade deals we get and how long that takes.
