Title: problem with left/right eye on Bluray 3D
Post by: airsoft on June 19, 2016, 08:33:22 PM
I know it is too late maybe for 4K3D, but I wish to share my experience with few titles (for an example it wil be "The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey (Part 1)"

1) when I start using the original Bluray ISO the picture is wrong and unfocused I suppose because of this
Code: [Select]
D:\>eac3to Y:
1) 00100.mpls, 00006.m2ts, 1:33:44
   - Chapters, 18 chapters
   - h264/AVC (right eye), 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9)         usually (h264/AVC is the left eye)
   - h264/MVC  (left eye), 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9)
   - DTS Master Audio, English, multi-channel, 48kHz
   - AC3, Hungarian, multi-channel, 48kHz
   - AC3, Polish, multi-channel, 48kHz

2) I've made the copies with TSMuxer 2.6.12

2a) one with "[X] Use base video stream for right eye" - this one is default after reading original bluray playlist 00100.mpls
Code: [Select]
MUXOPT --no-pcr-on-video-pid --new-audio-pes --blu-ray --label="The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey 3D" --vbr  --vbv-len=500 --right-eye --start-time=524280
and the result is
Code: [Select]
D:\>eac3to x:
1) 00000.mpls, 00000.m2ts, 1:33:44
   - Chapters, 18 chapters
   - h264/AVC (right eye), 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9)
   - h264/MVC  (left eye), 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9)
   - DTS Master Audio, English, multi-channel, 48kHz

2b) one with "[ ] Use base video stream for right eye" - I've cleared the checkbox
Code: [Select]
MUXOPT --no-pcr-on-video-pid --new-audio-pes --blu-ray --label="The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey 3D" --vbr  --vbv-len=500 --start-time=524280
and the result is
Code: [Select]
D:\>eac3to w:
1) 00000.mpls, 00000.m2ts, 1:33:44
   - Chapters, 18 chapters
   - h264/AVC  (left eye), 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9)
   - h264/MVC (right eye), 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9)
   - DTS Master Audio, English, multi-channel, 48kHz

but the result from playing of the three ISO files is the same.
Every time I should switch left and right eye using
a) the button 3D on the remote control
b) the menu option "Senior Setup"
c) the menu option "switchRightAndLeft(Right First)"

I got the impression that the player will make it alone

Regards

Do you not have a button on your glasses to do this?

I have power on/off button on my glasses :)
If some glasses for projectors had ..... I don't know, I always use a TV with 3D support and their glasses don't have.

Do you not have a button on your glasses to do this?

Regards
