Hallo,
I'd like to know if it's possible to control HIMEDIA Q10 PRO e.g. by an admin consolle accessible by a browser from another PC.
Thanks in advance,
Federico

Don't know about browser but maybe you could run the HiControl app in an Android emulator.

HiControl Android app works fine from a mobile device and "mirrors" the screen (without needing the TV turned on). Of course this does not run under Windows.
If you just want to use normal file functions from a network PC; copy, move, delete, rename/change files etc (i.e. not actually remote control of the Q10 Pro) you can simply access the SD card and also internal hard drive from a Windows PC using Network/share (turn on Samba share).
From Windows, it was easy to find: /share/sdcard (for internal card) OR /share/sda/sda2 (for internal hard drive)

Possible? Sure!
But no one does give support for that. Its all about android and ios apps now.
Windows falls behind.

There are lots of Android emulators that runs under Windows.

I am running Himedia on a Samsung and using Sidesync for that I can control the Himedia APP too. Not directly what was asked for but it also works-.

Further to this question, I have now tested DLNA functions and found it is simple to "cast" a video or music file from a Windows 10 PC to the Q10 Pro (using File Explorer). Therefore, a PC can "control" the player ;D
