Title: Q5 Pro and VPN
Post by: paul on June 19, 2016, 06:21:07 PM
I'm unable to connect my Q5 Pro to a VPN service - have tried IPsec, PPTP and L2TP with two separate VPN providers, but the result is either "timeout" or "unsuccessful".  I've confirmed with Tech Support that I'm following the correct procedures.  A separate 4.0 Android tablet connects to each provider, using L2TP.

I'd appreciate any tips - thanks.

Is there any subscription VPN provider (and option) known to work with the Q5 or Q10 Pro?

Thanks

There is an Andoid app for ibvpn that works on the Q10 Pro (I have installed and tested it).  https://www.ibvpn.com/

When I researched VPN's more than a year ago, they offered the best value and their help desk is great.
I often use the All-In-One with Windows 10 on my PC.  The Android app seemed to log in using the last server I had connected to (on my PC).
I don't use the Q10 Pro to download (that is what a PC is for  ;) ) and have not used it since the initial app install so cannot comment on stability under Android.
