Hello!
I have just received the Q10 Pro from Futeko, but after I was assembled it and tried to launch Kodi it steps at the Koid's launch screen and says: "Error: Unable to download opp."... ->With no other option left but to click "Exit", so now I couldn't even start up Kodi at all.
It's really annoying since I was expecting that I could use all apps just "out-of-the-box' as one should normally expect it (not even mention that it's a 150 pund device). Also that it has every promised and expected apps well and carefully pre-installed and tested, before sending it out to the customers. So, I guess it's not the case this time.
As far as I could google it, this "opp" is some additional data, required by the Google Play store, and that Kodi won't boot up at all without it.
So, i seems that Kodi isn't 100% installed on this device. The worst in this is, that I don't even have a router to connect the Q10 Pro to the internet and let Kodi to download this "opp" data by itself. So some other user operation will be needed i guess.
So, other than being dissaponted, I would like to ask how should i fix this problem locally, without having the Q10 Pro connected to the internet? (Offcourse I still can download files to a Pendrive with my Computer, that is directly connected (again: no router at all).
(And an additional question for the other Q10 Pro users: anyone else had this issue with the device?)
Thanks for the replies!

Google Play Store will sometimes force install of an OBB file for large apps that do not originate from Play Store.
The easiest way around it is to connect the Q5/Q10 Pro to the internet to allow the file to download. This only needs to be done once.
An alternative is to download the version of Kodi at the Kodi website. This version contains the OBB file:
Kodi download site: https://kodi.tv/download/
16.1 current latest Kodi: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/arm/kodi-16.1-Jarvis-armeabi-v7a.apk
There will be no requirement for OBB file download in firmware 1.0.4 onwards.

This is exactly the same problem I had when I first used the Q10, as recommended I just downloaded Kodi from the official site installed from this download and have had no problems since.

Thank you, Im up on it, but there are some difficulties:
A Copyed the Kodi install file to my extrenal HDD to a seperate folder, but after i plug in to the Q10 Pro's USB and try to find it with the File Manager neighter the file or the directory won't show up. All my other directories and files will show up on that HDD, but this one just doesn't...
Please let me know what I'm doing wrong, and how to find and install Kodi from the extrernal HDD.
And another question: do I need to uninstall and reinstall the Wrapper too, to pair it with the fresh installation of the Kodi again?
Thanks!

No need to uninstall the wrapper, but yes you will need to install it after fresh Kodi install. Just go My Apps - Wrapper - Install playercorefactory.xml.
No reason why the Kodi download shouldn't show up. It shows up here.
Either:
My Apps - FileManager - navigate to storage/directory - kodiinstallfile.apk - press OK.
or
Media Centre - navigate to storage/directory - App - kodiinstallfile.apk - press OK.

I'm not joking, and I checked a sevral times again: and that folder with the apk files just won't show up in regular view in File Manager. Now heres the trick: I must navigate to the upper right corner icons, and change the view mode to "Pictures", and suddenly the directory just shows up, like its should normally.
I don't know what's the problem with this and File Manager, but if I choose any other view mode than Pictures for the directories, its just won't show it. Maybe it's related that these files have .apk extension? Firmware or Program bug maybe?
Had anyone experienced the upper bug and can confirm that I'm not hallucinating?! (Or maybe it's just with my device this time?)
(And for ps.: So did I manage to install Kodi, and it seams that it works OK.)->(Despite from the flickering gamma issue in some movies, but I guess this bug needs another separate thread...)
