Hi,
I have installed this new FW, it is ok for me, but just one problem.
There are on the GUI a " Power Button ", and the differents modes don't work fine.
Mode standby: ok :)
Other mode : bug :(
Is it possible to delete this program ? because the remote control work fine to put the Q10pro on standby mode.

Is it possible to have a selection of power off/stand by/reboot with the power button of remote control? I can only power off, nothing else.

You must be running the CS custom firmware, because the official 1.0.3 has no power button in GUI.
Here's the thread for CS custom firmware 1.0.3. Please post here: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=916.0
The power button problem was addressed in the thread for the previous CS custom firmware: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=908.msg5635#msg5635
Basically, it looks difficult to fix. The sleep button works as shutdown should.

Possible, but I'm not sure people would prefer it. That HiMedia products shut down properly with remote is a feature that I think people appreciate. A lot of Android boxes only go into sleep (because that's how phones typically work).
Q10 Pro boots in < 20 seconds so full power off with power on by remote is not causing too much delay.
I'd appreciate more opinion on what people would prefer.

in my opinion, it is perfect like that, as you said the boot is very fast, no need to have mode stand by or reboot.

Exactly! Seen the fact it boots so fast I prefer a real power shutdown. In sleep mode: it pollutes, APP's will do undesired (uncontrollable) background communications and power consumption is probably above the legal limit (=1 W in Europe). I do have several other Android Players working with a sleep mode.
This box is unique in "boot time + HDD detection time" what is what really matters. It is far better than any box I have ever seen.
It is always possible to offer an optional extra sleep mode, but replacing shutdown is a real bad idea.

Hi everybody,
In fact, i use only the remote control to put the Q10Pro on Standby mode. It's perfect for me.
Simply and fast . ;)

there is no standby on the Q5/10 pro, only ON or OFF (shutdown)
