it was reported in some Russian forum (4pda.ru) that using the latest ogyoutube app and installing it's accompanying file will result in playing 4k youtube videos.... which makes the q10 pro the only android box that was able to achieve that , aside from the shield.... pretty impressive

Hello,
I am a new user of Q10 Pro purchased recently.
I have a denon 7.1 setup. Had set the HDMI output on auto.
Playing movies from media I am able to get good sound quality.
But if I play movies or music videos from Youtube then the sound levels and quality are very very low as compared to the standard.
Are there any settings for audio for playing form youtube app similar to the settings in Kodi on Q10 Pro ?
Thanks

Levels should be the same across all Android apps.
The one thing I'd check is Settings - More - Sound - Volumes, and make sure the slider is on 100%.
After that, this app (not tested) claims to adjust volumes according to app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spycorp.appvolumecontrol&hl=en_GB

Thanks for the advise.
I had adjusted the volume in the box settings. earlier it was at quarter volume.

Still no 4K support in supplied Youtube(Mobile) or Youtube(TV) app? I have Youtube(TV) on my Sammy KS8000 working nicely with 4K - version 2.1.407 released 01.04.2016, but version might differ as this is Tizen platform.

Different platform. The problem is that Android Youtube doesn't support 4K.
You can install OGYoutube to get 4K on Q5/Q10 Pro. It's a customised version of standard Android Youtube. You need to install another apps first, see question under 'System' heading in our FAQ: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=711.0
