Title: the on screen keyboard.....
Post by: salalee on May 24, 2016, 05:42:01 PM
hi , does anyone know how to add a language to the on-screen keyboard (hardware keyboard) which can only display English and Chinese? i mean , the keyboard UI is already ugly (which i find it to be strange for such a high end model) , but that won't matter as long as i can add an extra language....
and any plans for the custom firmware developers to add support for minix neo A2 airmouse?

aside from the mentioned,  and finding a permanent fix for the power off issue using different apps ; himedia Q1 pro is a beast. the 1080p video files playback is just breathtaking... blessings

The pre-installed keyboard is customised to support remote entry but is a bit ugly and only supports Chinese and English language.

If you're happy using a mouse then any keyboard can be installed.

Go to Play Store and search for 'keyboard'. I suggest installing 'Google Keyboard' first.

Go to Settings - More - Language & input - Keyboard & input methods - CHOOSE KEYBOARDS. Disable 'Remote controller input method'. Enable 'Google keyboard'.

Google keyboard can have many language installed and has loads of other settings. Go Settings - More - Language & input - Keyboard & input methods - Google keyboard.

cfw 2.0.6.

i managed to make it work now after tinkering around some more,
it works with everythig now except YouTube for Android TV, which is most likely an issue with the app.
This makes searching almost unusable.
