Will it also be posible to install openelec on the Q10 directly ?

It depends if a Linux SDK will become available somewhere for the Hi3798CV200 :)

At the moment I have OpenELEC running on the Q5 4K3D (Hi3798CV100) and on an older box with the Hi3716CV200. It is using the hardware-accelerated Video decoding drivers of the Hisilicon chip when playing with the DVDPlayer with full KODI HMI access during playback without any wrapper or external player. The only thing that I did not release this is that I still have problems of audio-video synchronization.
