I plug my 500GB WD usb hdd for Q10 pro regularly for film watching. But now when I attach it to my computer. It not shown any more. I can still acess usb hdd w/ Q10 pro@@. Could anyone help me on this ?

Strange, never seen this. Be sure to first make a backup of the disk: Using Q10 itself or via SAMBA Server to your PC. Would use SAMBA myself in this case. You don't want to loose your content.
Next you may try another PC. If it does not work, re-format it and re-store your backup. You may also try a good recovery program on your PC, but only after having a working backup. Minitool Partition Wizard Free is a good start trying to fix it.

My passport died :(. It is recommended for everyone to use internal HDD for media. External USB HDD like my passport is not meant for media, it just for data storage.

Failures of HDD do occur. I hope you did not loose any content, which is most important.
I can't agree with the statement though. I see absolutely no difference for using Internal or USB attached HDD, just a matter of convenience and costs.
Will report my setup under evaluation using Q10 Pro as a simple NAS alternative. With that specific setup all HDD in fact can be moved from Internal to USB just by plugging in/out.
