Hello Futeko,
After testing with the new Himedia Q10 Pro i notice some problems with HD Audio not recognized with the Wrapper 3.6 instead of the setting in passthrough is on and correctly set as my old Q10 4K witch working fine with my Yamaha receiver YSP-2200.
Testing with lots of movies as expendable 3 with Atmos audio and also True -HD, same way not decoding. Did you have an issu as before with the Q10 4K with the patch for atmos and HD Audio ? or wa can think soon a new firmware with lots of bugs resolved;
Testing also with Dvdplayer and can read HD Audio.
Thanks for your support.

In the system settings you have set RAW 7.1?

In the system settings you have set RAW 7.1?
Thanks for sure, and i notice also when you try to put :
HDMI: RAW
SPDIF: Close
HDR Audio: RAW 7.1
Not Hd Audio outside is decoding but:
HDMI: Auto and HDR Audio: Raw 7.1 we can have the DTS 5.1 only not HD Audio like DTS-HD, True-HD or Atmos audio. And sometimes, not synchronized with the receiver instead before no problem with the old one Q10 4K; So ?

Works with my setup, but not using KODI. Speak only for media center and then then all HD-audio formats DD/DTS play well including 7.1 sources.

Mistake because even if i try to use directly the media center without Kodi, have the same problem about the Audio HD decoding with my Yamaha Receiver.
No problem before with the Q10 4K the old one!

kodi (dvdplayer) NOT support Hd Audio previous generation and q10 pro .
can you try this fix for HDMI CEC http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=166.msg1705#msg1705, maybe it's similar problem.
maybe Q10 pro have some issues about incompatibile with Yamaha, i have never problem with my onkyo.

Try these ones from the link below, that futeko posted to me.
There are two of those files that are in HD Audio and my Yamaha RX V677 switches to HD Audio:
For clarity, when you test, please use the following samples from the Kodi samples page.
It will allow other users (and us) to test and compare.

Section 4.
1. H.264 1080p/23.976 (in MKV)
2. H.264 1080p/24.000 (in MKV)
10. VC-1 1080p/23.976 (in MKV w/TrueHD 5.1 audio)
11. VC-1 1080i/29.970 (in MKV w/DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio)

I could be the same problem with mine. I also facing HD audio issue with Q10 Pro and my Denon 3311CI.
Check out my thread. http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=718.0 (http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=718.0)

There seems to be an incompatibility here with some Receivers/Amplifiers. An inventory of brands and models would be good.
I have seen this also on other Android based media players. HDMI and Android are no natural friends for sure.
This is not an HDMI-CEC related problem. I can assure that, this despite the fact that there are some problems there also.
I do have an Onkyo TX-NR609 and that one does not have any problems here. Neither with those other brands media players.

Anyone having HD-Audio problems please post details of your setup in this thread: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=793.0
Posting setup details might establish a pattern and shed some light on the problem.
