Hi there,
i'm just wondering where the options for the HD audio formats are. There are none in Kodi 16.1. On the stock version the options were there. Is this a Kodi problem? I've change to view to "Expert" of course.
Any help would be appreciated.
thx

In Kodi settings change setting level to 'Advanced' or 'Expert'. The passthrough settings are hidden with settings mode as 'Standard'.
Settings level is bottom left of all settings screens.

I did this but there are no options fur truehd.

That's right because Kodi doesn't have support for HiSilicon SoC. In fact, Kodi really only has solid support for HD audio passthru for Android via SPMC (http://spmc.semperpax.com/), developer @Koying's Kodi fork. Try it, but you won't likely get passthru w/it either as HiSilicon support hasn't been added.
Use wrapper with Kodi, so Kodi uses the HiSilicon player for playback instead, w/full HD audio.

Just tried the new star wars with the wrapper. Problem is i get the word rolling intro in a completely wrong language where kodi does the right thing using the predefined german language the himedia player does not although the language settings are set to german.

I was able to play the Star Wars roll Intro in the correct Language with the option "Playlist" in the himedia Player. There are some predefined playlists on the bluray which do an exchange of the intro in the correct language. Is this a feature which is in development for a future release of the player software? Kodi is able to merge the languages with the correct playlist on an BD ISO. The Himedia Player isn't.
Thx
