Hi
i have a Mac, so i cannot format a new HDD .
So is it possible to format a new HDD if i put it in the Q10 pro ?
Thanks
-
Not possible, sorry. Android cannot format hard drives.
I'm not an expert in things Apple, but there are some utilties available that will format drives to NTFS on MacOS. Some info here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXSUHwnOfas

Any MAC will format EXT4 just fine and will next work when inserted. Recommended format for MAC users.

Thanks, i know this,
but i explain myself badly...
I have 2 problems.
First, i have 3 usb hdd, all contains films, and they are formated in mac os, not ext4.
So, i cannot read those usb disks.
Second problem, is for the next hdd 3,5.
I have understand that it is possible to format in ext4, and the q10Pro can read it, ok thanks.
So, after to format in ext4, q10 can read it and reformat in ntfs?
Thanks

No, q10pro will use it as it is formated at ext4.
As was written by futeko, Android is not able to format any HDD.
