this message had popped up a few times in various situations while using Q10
"unfortunately system UI has stopped "
then i have to reboot box to get rid of message.

This will be reported to HiMedia and will be improved in future firmware. I think it's caused by the launcher, which is substantially new for Q10 Pro.

Confirm it too...after sometime with no activity it says "Unfortunately System UI has stopped"

And contiually reappears chen close.  A reboot is the only solution.

IT was really annoying. Searching on the net, reveals its more on software compatibility issues with Lollipop (careful what you switch/install).

Reflashed the firmware to resolve the issue.

Is there any release date for new FW release?
Will be released just for Q10 pro or also for Q5 pro?

1.0.4 should be official soon. Within 2 weeks.

Both Q5 and Q10 Pro. It will be released OTA, so your box will notify you when it's available.

Even if it doesn't break your box terminally you'll find that it breaks certain features of the box (keyboard is one in this beta).

thanks futeko for the advice... just wondering , even if it's a common sense , will there more improvements aside from the mentioned in the change log of the beta?

Possibly. We only have the changelog.
