Title: Add Q10 pro HDD to network locations
Post by: NorrisK on April 21, 2016, 09:14:38 PM
Hi all,

I've recently received the Q10 pro and love it already for its ability to play HD audio and specifically dolby atmos.

I'm having some troubles setting it up correctly though. I can't seem to figure out how to add the HDD that I put in the Q10 pro to my network locations on my pc (windows 10). Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks!

Turn on Samba sharing.

Go Settings - More - SAMBA Service - Start. You can add password protection if you wish.

This will share the internal storage, internal HDD and all attached USB storage using a Samba (Windows) network.

Works now, thanks.

At first when I turned on the SAMBA setting it didn't show, but after a reboot of both systems it showed up :)
