My no sound out issues aside, I have noticed that 3D ISO movies autoswitch to 24p no problem but my MKV 2D movies do not switch to 24p.
These movies auto switch on my 4 year old Bluetimes Realtech 1186 player.
I have made sure that 1080/24p is switch to 'open' in the menu of the Himedia player but no joy on getting the 24p output.
Any ideas anyone?

MKV 24p should be no problem. Your display should auto-switch.
You've posted a few problems which might be related.. It seems there's a problem transferring correct signal (sound / 24p) between your Q10 Pro and TV. As I posted in your no sound thread, hopefully a reflash will fix it, otherwise it may need RMA.

same problem..
Q10 pro -> Pioneer LX 59 -> LG OLED = 24p does not work
Q10 pro -> direct LG OLED = 24p does not work
testing with several HDMi cable = no change
but 3D auto switch to 24p :o

Was my USB RF Dongle that controls a iPazzPort keyboard/airmouse, messes the sound output via SPDIF and HDMI up as well as the ability for 24p switching of 2D MKV's - to be avoided.
You have to reboot the unit after removing the dongle to get 24p switching to work.
Hope this helps someone.

WOW.. Great find!!!
I would have never even thought of trouble shooting audio issues with that being the cause...
Goes to show how anything can mess things up...
Got to love computers...
Now to enjoy... ??
