FUTEKO MINIMX. ANDROID. S905_106L1. FULL FLASH METHOD. (26-MAR-2016)
There are two ways to flash Android firmware to MiniMX. This thread details the more difficult to set up, but usually foolproof method. This method works regardless what firmware (e.g. OpenELEC) has been previously installed.
MiniMX running earlier firmware should offer the user the chance to auto-update, so the full flash update method detailed here should not be necessary for most users. This is more for users who are running OpenELEC and want to flash back to latest Android firmware.
THIS INSTALL METHOD WILL COMPLETELY WIPE YOUR MINIX AND GIVE YOU A CLEAN INSTALL. YOU'LL LOSE ALL SETTINGS AND USER DATA
You will need a USB-A male to USB-A male cable and a Windows PC for this method. A USB-A male to USB-A male is a cable suitable for plugging into a PC and a standard USB port on the MiniMX.
The download package (see below) contains two files, the firmware itself in .img format and the Windows flashing tool for installation on a Windows PC.
Installation instructions:
1. Download the firmware package and extract the contents (using an unzip app like 7zip, Winzip etc) to a Windows PC.
2. Run the 'setup_v2.0.6.2_build2.exe' app to install the flashing tool and drivers.
3. Run the installed flashing tool app.
4. Connect one end of the USB cable to the PC.
5. Whilst using a paper clip or pen to press and hold the the pinhole restore button on the bottom of the MiniMX (on the base in one corner), insert the other end of the USB cable into the USB port on the side of MiniMX (the one next to the micro-SD port).
6. The flashing tool app should indicate that the MiniMX is connected. See photo in post #2.
7. Load the firmware image file. File - Import image.
8. Make sure 'Erase flash' and 'Erase bootloader' are selected. Select 'Start'.
9. The progress bar will indicate flash progress. It should take ~ 3 minutes to complete.
10. When the bar says '100% Burning Successfully' remove the USB cable and resume using MiniX with new firmware!
DO NOT TURN OFF THE MINIMX DURING THE FIRMWARE INSTALL PROCESS!
Changelog (S905_106L1):
1. Minor bugfixes.
2. Kodi 16.0 final.

Thanks
We only have the file for the full flash.
The SD card method should be unnecessary anyway, because with Android OS installed the box should auto-update firmware.
If it hasn't updated go to My Apps - UPDATE@BACKUP - Online Update. It should find latest firmware and ask if you want to install it.

Could you provide a changelog for the minor bugfixes?
Not in English.
This is it in Chinese:
1. kodi?????????kodi-16.0-Jarvis-armeabi-v7a.apk??kodimate???kodimate1.5??
2. ??kodi???????????sd??????kodi???ota????????????????????
3. ??emmc???????????????????
4. ??APP???????????????????????
5. Settings???System sounds????????
6. ????????????2G?
7. ???????????????
Which translates almost incomprehensibly as:
1. kodi update the latest official network (kodi-16.0-Jarvis-armeabi-v7a.apk), kodimate kodimate1.5 updated version;
2. The pre-kodi plug (Note: wire brush and sd card upgrade will upgrade preloaded kodi plug; ota upgrade is not preinstalled, does not destroy the original installation of the plug-in);
3. Optimize emmc erase mode, effectively avoid risks online upgrade failed;
4. Modify the APP installed, the interface displays the text color and background color when the button is selected;
5. Settings System sounds inside the selection of display issues;
6. Allow custom changes to the system partition 2G;
7. Address Start Card mode failed to brush machine problems;
