Hello everyone I need help on the hdmi connection to the TV.
I state that I have not purchased from you, but if we can fix it will buy 'a new HIMEDIA from your site.
sorry for my english but I'm using google translate :)
then my problem is in the audio output. I connected my HIMEDIA with hdmi output, but in the TV does not feel the sound. I can not understand what the problem .si can do a factory reset?

Go Settings - Playback and set:

HDMI Output: LPCM

You should get stereo sound.

If your TV supports DTS / AC3 change settings to:

HDMI Output: RAW
HBR Output: 5.1.

If your TV supports DTS-HDMA / Dolby TrueHD change settings to:

HDMI Output: RAW
HBR Output: 7.1

My post above answers your question. I think?

You need to change a few settings on the Q5. Settings are accessed by selecting 'Settings' from home screen.

The settings as above are correct, so if you get no sound it's possibly a hardware fault. Either the HDMI cable, the TV, or the Q5 itself.
