Title: where to find US/Canada Firmwares for q5 4k3D

Hello.
I just ordered my new q5 4k3D player from US.

I noticed that the firmware page seems to apply to euro versions of the player..

Where can I find US/Canada versions, or what is the procedure  to do so..

There are two types of Q5/Q10 hardware, the Chinese version and the European (or International) version.

We call the one we sell 'European' because almost all of Himedia's international sales have traditionally been in Europe, they haven't had much of a presence in North America.

Our firmware can be used on all European/International model Q5/Q10s.

Chinese version hardware usually has Chinese writing on the top. Usually.

Just so I understand correctly,  I can use the euro version firmware with my us/Canada q5 4k3d?

Just  don't want to Brick it..

Almost certainly yes if it says HIMEDIA on the top of the casing.
