Kodi 16 realesed.  Can I simple upgrade from PlayStore?

I, i got the same question, but in playstore says already installed, even i have v15

If the upgrade from Play Store doesn't work then download and install from Kodi site:

https://kodi.tv/download/

http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/arm/kodi-16.0-Jarvis-armeabi-v7a.apk

All you need to do is download the apk file onto your Q5/Q10 (using Chrome on Q5/Q10 is easiest) and run the file. It will install like an app from Play Store.

In theory you should be able to upgrade from Play Store, but a lot of people (on any Android hardware) have problems with it not working.

Yes.

But, installing Kodi 16 final yourself on a Q5/Q10 will be exactly the same as if it was pre-installed in a firmware.
