I just got my Q10 himedia player, when I launch kodi and I add samba network path which is accepted, everything goes fine until I try to play a movie,,,,it is just stuck and displays wrapper
but nothing happens after that, what am I missing?
-
Where do I get the required wrapper to enable kodi passthru?
I'm new and I just received my q10 media player and so it's not a pleasant experience

Did you get the Q10 from us? Is latest firmware (3.0.3) installed?
If not then go here and follow instructions to install latest firmware: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=494.0
With 3.0.3 installed, first run Kodi once then run the HimediaWrapper app which is pre-installed and available under apps. This will install wrapper to enable Himedia player in Kodi. See here for more info: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=60.0
One thing to note is that the wrapper only works for SMB network shares which are not password protected.

But I assume it works fine for NFS shares.
I am getting same problem...no play when I select a movie to watch. It gives me the option of using defualt player or dvd_player, but then nothing happens.
