Hello Futeko,
I have 3.0.1 on my Q10IV and generally everything is OK.
But recently I have installed Kodi 15.2 and found that It does not want to work with H265 files (it looks that it does not have proper permissions for HW acceleration). The internal player and MX are working normally with H265 but Kodi is very useful as I can regulate shift between video and audio. There is the fix for Kodi 15.2 for Amlogic devices on Freaktab.com. May be there is same fix for Hisilicon? Or the only way is to return the Kodi box version?

No , at moment kodi NOT support hisilicon Soc. You must use wrapper o himedia player.

Himedia with wrapper has many features not supported on any platform with Kodi native player. Image quality is also better (the best).
If you want 'hardware decoding' in Kodi for some video (not 4K, not H.265, not 7.1 audio, often not 5.1 audio) then I agree there are many cheap boxes available, we sell the MiniMX box and it is probably the best of the cheaper boxes.
If you want total format support and the best possible image quality, buy Himedia.
