It's not obvious to me from that video what the problem is.

Can you explain it some more?

View 3D, the film is minimized about 3-4cm longer then normal 2D
I set the screen by BoxSetting-> Display-> Screen size position

Hi all,
I have the same issue with 3D.
If I stretch the display complete to left and right screen is fine. But the UI and apps are totally crap. Like in Playstore you can't see magnifying glass anymore.
But if I stretch it until the arrow begins I have left and right black bars. Even in Full Screen mode.

This is really annoying

Strange bug and something that should be fixable. I will pass it onto HiMedia.

For the people having this problem, what TV brand/model are you using? We've not had any feedback about this problem except for this thread so it may be specific to a particular TV.

Hi I also had this problem after updating with the Hmediawrapper update to fix 3D iplayer issues in XBMC.
I think the problem may be related to HDM1 over scan settings..

Try going to the box settings into then adjusting the Display settings by using the +/- keys to ensure your display is at its optimum settings for your screen.. This worked for me..

In Android settings can you change the screen size to fit?

Settings - Display - Screen size position.

Re. chapters, there are a few quirks to work out to do with calling the HiMedia player in Kodi and which menus take precedence. HiMedia will improve it. In the meantime the HiMedia Android player will play everything with chapters, and Kodi/XBMC unpatched will play everything except higher bitrate/3D/7.1 Audio with chapters.

Hello,
Same problem here when playing 3D Movies. My TV Is LG 60PZ950 16:9. If I set display -screen size position to fit for 3D, then in 2d the image is chopped and I must adjust again the image.
