Q5 does not support full Blu-Ray menus (BD-J or HDMV). No Android box does.

All our Himedia products support Blu-Ray with custom menus. Kodi offers similar custom menu support.

A few years ago the Blu-Ray consortium companies made it very hard (i.e. impossible) for any non Blu-Ray player to support BD-menus, so now none do.

There is an app for Android called Vidon XBMC which can play BD with menus if you buy the Pro version. See here: http://www.vidon.me/vidon_xbmc.htm.

DVD menus are fully supported in both Android and Kodi. Any version of Kodi can play DVDs with full menu.

Any idea then if i want to make a bluray with that custom menu, how i do this?
I want to create a demodisc containing movie parts with hd audio and stuff

The custom menu is inherent to the app you're using to play the BD-ISO.

So every BD-ISO played with Himedia player will have Himedia's custom menu and every BD-ISO played with Kodi will have Kodi's.

So you'd create menus the same way you'd create them on any BD disc.

e.g. Himedia BD menu here:

If you press menu button on remote you should get that menu.

It doesn't show when you first play the video.

kodi support menu only with windows/linux, not with android.
