DVD subtitles recorded in MKV files do not play properly.I use MediaCenter to play it.
If I select "Embedded DVD" in the subtitle selection, the subtitles appear without problems, but they continue to appear even in scenes with no dialogue.
There is a bug where the subtitles switch at the timing of the next dialogue, but continue to be displayed until the next dialogue comes.
The MKV file is not corrupted, as it plays fine on the PC.
Please let me know if you have a solution.
My Q10 Pro ver. is HMD-2.1.1.(Official Firmware)

Hi I have the same issue with firmware 2.1.4. I upscaled a DVD to MKV HD 1080p with Handbrake and used the build-in dvd subs. They play well in kodi (press longer and select from popup menu Play With to select the kodi player instead the wrapper) but not in mediaplayer. Not fixable I think. Only workaround is to make srt subs from build-in dvd subs, or play with different player.

Thanks for the advice.Indeed, KODI displays subtitles properly. Unfortunately, however, KODI's playback functions are not scalable. For example, there is no function to adjust the position of subtitles. For this reason, I was hoping to use MediaCenter for playback, but is there still no solution?

Can you adjust the subtitle position in the settings? Not on the fly like you can with the Media Player but go the settings page and do it from there? You can adjust the position, font and size I thought.

"Embedded DVD (vobsub)" subtitles do not support position adjustment with KODI. But MediaCenter can adjust the position. However, as mentioned above, there is a problem with the display. I tried updating to the custom firmware ver. 2.1.7, but it did not improve the problem.
