If i put my usb in the usb port of my z9x pro. i can seen the files that are stored on my usb. if i connect it with my laptop over the work with samba on with the zidoo. But the files on my external hdd connected to the zidoo z9x pro are not visible if i connect it over the network? how it come? software bug? Will a software update fix this problem?

What format is the USB drive?
What OS are you running on the laptop?
It's not a general problem, I can see files shared by Samba here and there isn't a flood of customers complaining about it (as there would be if it were universal).

using windows 11, usb drive ntsf formatted hdd external drive also. Its a softwarebug in the z9x pro. Seen here! http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/z9x-pro-internal-samba-server-problem.95949/
Wich zidoo player do you have?

I have all of the Zidoo players(!).
We believe the problem relates specifically to NTFS formatted drives shared over SMB. Zidoo will fix this problem quickly, but if you cannot wait then a solution is to format the drive as exFAT or EXT4 where file systems display normally.

I have formatted my usb stick also to ntfs. and all my mp3 are visible if i join the usb map over the network from my connected usb to the zidoo player. i think external hdd`s only gives the problem, that the files are not visible in the map
