Title: UHD3000 bundle fan substitute NF-A4x10 5V PWM
Post by: pjinjin on October 17, 2022, 10:18:14 AM
I heard that the UHD3000 bundle fan can be replaced with a Noctua NF-A4x10 5V PWM.

However, it is not easy to replace the bundle fan.

When I opened the cover, it was difficult to disassemble the power supply, so I couldn't replace it.

I want to know the experiences of the experienced.

Did this once. Yes the board needs to be removed but is not really difficult.
Also the holes need to be drilled a bit bigger.

My conclusion, difference is minimal and not worth the effort.

Thank you for answer.

I have already purchased a Noctua fan, so I want to give it a try.

When I tried to remove the power supply board, I found that it was connected to the front display window.

There were 4 bolts connected to the front display window, do I have to unscrew them and separate them together with the board?

The bolt angle of the front display window made it difficult to insert and remove the driver, so it could not be executed.

I disconnected the flat-cable to that display instead. It is not soldered.
