Hi. probably a stupid question, but how do i go about deleting files i have watched in the q10? Can't seem to find an option.
Cheers.

Personally I would install ES File Explorer (free from Play Store). It's a much better file manager than the one pre-installed.
You can delete with the installed file manager though. Navigate to the file and press menu button on remote. Then choose 'operation' - 'delete'. Mouse middle button works same as menu button if you're using a mouse.
You can also delete from Himedia Media Center. Again, find the file, press menu, and select 'operation'.

Cheers pal. i'll have a look at it tonight. Its a great wee box like.

Hi just tried this and nothing happens when i press menu.
i like to watch files then delete when i quite out of them otherwise i loose track of what i've watched. i'd rather not have to quite to home and use an app.

What firmware you running? I think this feature was added with 3.0.3.

Hi only received the unit from you last week. It's already running the latest firmware.
Tried again tonight. Press menu in the kodi media centre and nothing happens.
Just means I have to access my mass through my laptop and delete from there. I'm still trying to get to grips with E's file manager.
Still its a few extra steps that I'd rather not have to do.
Not the end of the world though

The instructions I gave were for Android and Himedia Media Center.
To delete from within Kodi you need to enable file rename/delete, it's disabled by default.
Go Settings - Appearance - File lists and check the 'Allow file renaming and deletion' box.
You'll now get delete and rename option when pressing the menu button over a file in Kodi.

Hi.
Thanks for that.
Sorted.
