Title: How to make Dolby Vision play on Q5 Pro ? Any Workaround ?

I am unable to play DV files.

Its just black screen , but audio is fine.

Using Kodi + Wrapper to play the files.

any workaround to make those files play ?

The HiSilicon chip is unable to decode DV. 
It plays HDR10 perfectly (and HDR10+ as this is also backwards compatible).
Suggest you rip to HDR only (or only download HDR videos).

The next step is to consider a new DuneHD or Zidoo player (as sold by Futeko) as the new chip can handle all form of DV and HDR playback.

So both of them will support DV and it wont be blocked by Dolby right ?

among the two , which one has better community support ?
