Hi All,
First post on this forum (and as a new Z1000 Pro owner) so please be gentle with me if I've missed something obvious...
I've been using the Z1000 for a week or so as a media player, streaming audio/video from my NAS unit, and so far so good. The reason I purchased the unit (after a couple of years with a Dune HD) is that I liked the idea of local storage within the device as sometimes bandwidth can be a bit thin on our network with two gaming/streaming teenagers in the house (and I have experienced the occasional glitch/stutter on playback).
So today I installed an 8TB hard drive with a view to bouncing much of my video collection from the NAS to the new local storage and at first all appeared fine, I can access the network and drive from the Z1000 and transfer data from my NAS (although it is very slow). The problem is when trying to access the Z1000 from my Windows 10 PC. I can see the ZD_Samba icon in the network (and as a media device) but I'm unable to access it directly through the icon or as a webpage/ip address (URL not found).
Although I know my way around a Windows PC fairly well, networking has never been my strong point so I'm hoping I'm missing something simple. I did have a scout around the forum looking for anyone who's had a similar issue but nothing stands out. I have checked the SMB file sharing support is enabled.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
Regards.

Is that it then?
I am underwhelmed by the response......
Not even a "you posted it in the wrong place" reply?

Now solved, W10 Group Policy Management setting needed modifying to allow Insecure Guest Logons. Once done all is good.
